GUNDAM - VICTORY DAI-SHOGUN - SD / BB GUNDAM BB139
I recently built the Victory Dai-Shogun (BB139) from the classic BB Senshi line, and it was a really enjoyable experience. This kit perfectly blends the traditional samurai warrior aesthetic with Gundam’s mecha design, giving it a noble and commanding presence despite its SD proportions. The detailed armor and bold color scheme—mostly red, gold, and white—make it stand out on any shelf. The build itself is straightforward and beginner-friendly. It’s a snap-fit kit that requires no glue or paint, though it does rely on stickers for finer details. Assembly took about an hour, and the parts fit well overall. While articulation is limited compared to modern kits, you can still achieve some classic samurai poses, especially with the included weapons and shields. What I really appreciate is the nostalgic charm this kit carries—it feels like a true piece of Gundam history. For fans of SD Gundam or samurai-themed models, Victory Dai-Shogun is a fantastic, affordable addition that brings character and style to the collection
