You have come to the lake hoping to see a rare and beautiful sight. The lilies of the lake only open their blossoms in the rain, and only rarely do all eight kinds of lily bloom at once. The goal of A Gentle Rain is to place the lake tiles in such a way to cause all eight types of lilies to bloom before you run out of tiles and the rain ends.
Place each new tile you draw next to a tile already in play, making sure to match the colors of all the tile edges touching the tile you are placing. Each time you manage to complete a square of four touching tiles, a blossom opens between them.

| Beautifully Simple | |
| A solo tile-matching game. You randomly select tiles and match coloured flowers on the edges. The goal is to finish as many corners (sets of 4) as you can (up to 8 to "win"). This is as simple a puzzle game as you can get. Because tile selection is random, your success will seem random (and therefore frustrating), although certain strategies can increase your odds (tracking what tiles might still exist, or spreading your tiles to not restrict yourself). It's simple, but very addictive. The game encourages you not to worry about scoring, and it's easy to modify rules to your liking. The box and tiles are beautiful and compact. This can fit along games like Triangle Peg Solitaire as a timeless, all-ages mind game. |

| ... jusqu'au moment où il n'y a rien qui fonctionne. Haha! Plus difficile qu'anticipé. L'important, c'est de ne pas se prendre trop au sérieux. Des fois, Les tuiles ne fonctionne juste pas et c'est ok. La texture des tuiles est douce comme du velour, donnant une sensation tactile intéressante. Se joue bien à deux, tour à tour... Se transporte super bien! | |

| C'est une première pour moi d'essayer un jeu solo, bien que ce jeu s'adapte et qu'on puisse ajouter des joueurs. Jeu de placement de tuiles qui demande une bonne stratégie sans la gestion du hasard. Je recommande! | |

| Depuis la pandémie, le marché est innondé de jeu solo....Cette petite merveille permet de passer un agréable 20 minutes et aussitôt terminé, on en redemande! Je le conseille fortement mais ça demeure un jeu abstrait, amateur d'Améritrash, vous pouvez passer votre tour! | |
