In Dandelions, players roll a group of dice, then choose one to move to a beautiful garden. Along the way, you can harness the power of the wind with three special actions — float, puff, and gust — to get the most points. The game ends after all the dice are used, and whoever receives the most victory points as combined from two different scoring methods wins.

| Japan is slowly and quietly becoming a source of small and unique new games — most notably from the tiny boxes of ‘Oink Games’, but also in this case with Dandelions’. The game is (uniquely) made for a maximum of three players, and has a simple but highly strategic dice placement and scoring mechanic, that has echoes of the ancient game of Mancala. Even better, this mechanics and theme of the game (dandelion seeds blowing on the wind to find the best spot to root) actually mesh well. Can most certainly recommend. | |
