The Memoir'44 Breakthrough Expansion will take you deep into the battles of World War II with two, double-sided, 9-panel board maps covering all four Memoir'44 map environments - countryside, beach, winter and deserts. These oversize boards stretch the limit of current printing technology and are13 x 17 hexes deep, opening up the Breakthrough format to new, more expansive scenarios.
The Breakthrough Expansion includes 15, never-in-print-before scenarios, created by Jacques "jdRommel" David, and Memoir'44 author, Richard Borg. These scenarios cover the Western and Eastern Fronts, as well as the Mediterranean and Pacific Theaters and include classic battles such as: Operation Crusader; Operation Amherst; and two different renditions of Sword Beach - all designed for the13 x 17 hex Breakthrough format.

| La Cadillac des plateaux pour Memoir '44 | |
| Cette extension de Memoir ‘44 comporte deux plateaux grand format double-face de 13 hex par 17 ce qui permet de jouer des batailles à plus grande échelle. Cette extension vient en plus avec 15 scénarios. Je cherchais à acquérir depuis longtemps le plateau hiver/désert mais il n’est jamais redevenu disponible à date. En faisant l’achat de l’extension Breakthrough, je mets la main sur ces deux plateaux et, en plus, il sont de plus grande taille: même nombre de hex en largeur (13) mais 17 au lieu de 9 en profondeur. Il suffira que chaque joueur bloque 4 rangées avec, par exemple, un support à cartes. De cette façon, on peut jouer autant aux scénarios de base du jeu qu'à ceux de l’extension Breakthrough. | |
