Description

Great Game | |
This is a nice tile laying game, with a bit of Tetris thrown in. The game has two distinct phases that each have their own strategies to max gaining point totals (and regret decisions you made earlier in the game). Beautiful artwork, nice design with a lot of replayability. Two players who understand the game could make this game quite cut throat. It could also be just a nice friendly game with interesting decisions to make. Worth checking out. |

Beautiful 2 Player Game
With gorgeous art, quality components, and two distinct phases, Paris; Ville Lumière is at it's core a game where two players use a lot of strategy to draft and lay polyomino / Tetris-esque building and build-up a neighborhood in Paris. The two-phase aspect, as well as the (beautiful) postcard actions make this seem like a two-player polyomino game with more replayability than other games that fit that description. |

Pleasant Surprise | |
My family and I really enjoyed this little game. It feels a bit like Patchwork, but with more going on, which I really enjoy. The extra "post-cards" add a lot of variety to the mix. The order arrived very quickly - If I remember correctly, within 2-3 days from Quebec to Ontario, which is great. I will certainly order from here again. |

Paris a tile laying game
Fairly simple 2 player "duel" game it plays in two phase, first phase you take turns placing paving tiles creating the board for round 2 or reserving different tetris-like building shapes to place on the paved area during round 2. In the phase two you take turns placing the buildings on your color of pavement trying to have them adjacent to lanterns to make points. The game was enjoyable enough but it does fall on the more simple side. And replayabilty will not be high for me |
