Description
In Quest, all will show their true colors as Good and Evil struggle for the future of civilization. Hidden amongst King Arthur’s loyal servants are Mordred’s unscrupulous minions. These forces of Evil are few in number, but if they go unknown, they can sabotage Arthur’s great quests.
Players are secretly dealt roles that determine if their allegiance is to Good or to Evil. Then, players debate, reason, and lie as they decide who to send on Quests—knowing that if just one minion of Mordred joins, the Quest could fail. Quest includes 25 different characters and many different ways to play the base game.

Interesting Party Deduction Game
I don't typically play games like this; I'd describe it as a Role-Playing Deduction game, good for large parties (it supports 4 - 10 players). Who is on the "good" team and who is secretly on the "evil" team? The rules are complex at first, with lots of small changes depending on the player count, but it feels manageable after playing once or twice. I think it's accessible for new players, especially if one experienced player is in the group. Additional "Director's Cut" rules are included in the box. The game's design and rules help force a session to be short (30 minutes is a good estimate). Great art and theming, good price, all fits in a relatively small box. |
