THE THING: THE BOARDGAME - BASE GAME (ENGLISH)
It is all simple: for any purchases of products that are eligible to the Privilege Card, 10% of the value of these products before taxes will be deposited in your account and after 10 purchases, you can use the accumulated money as a gift! - Sports or collectible/trading game cards, on a purchase of $10 or more of single cards;
- Stamps with the exception of those from the current year. Stamps accessories are not eligible;
- Coins, with the exception of those emission price. Gold coins and bullion coins are not eligible.. Coin and paper money accessories are not eligible.
* Any other products not listed here are not eligible to the Privilege Card.
* This offer cannot be turned into cash.
* The Privilege Card cannot be added to any other promotion (products on rebate cannot are not eligible to the Privilege Card.
Also, the card is absolutely free and there's no time limit to use it. If you've already filled out your traditional privilege card (paper form), ask for our new millennium version (computer format).

Description
The Thing - The Boardgame is a "hidden role" game, in which one player is initially the Thing and the other players are humans. The purpose of the Thing is to infect others, to prevent the survivors from escaping from the base (which can happen in three different ways), or to try to escape with them by behaving as a human.
In addition to these elements, players also have to manage Outpost 31. The game board shows the same rooms as seen in the film, and each of these rooms allows players to perform a different action. Human players have to feed themselves and keep the boiler and the generator on to avoid being in the cold and dark. The Thing will try to sabotage these places to make life difficult for the humans... or not, trying to camouflage itself among the humans and infect them when the perfect opportunity presents itself.
You must cooperate to survive – but who is really on your side? And if you reveal The Thing – are you ready to fight it? The road to victory is truly hard, but not impossible. Be careful though!
The 1-3 players rules are included inside of the box, with all the requested components to play.

| The thing | |
| Basé sur un film de John Carpenter qui lui était basé sur un livre se nommant "Who goes there" qui s'est lui basé sur un autre film je crois, The Thing est un jeu dans lequel un des joueurs incarne l'alien en secret. Il doit donc ne pas se faire prendre (hidden traitor type Dead of Winter). C'est un excellent jeu. Par contre, le livret d'instruction est un peu rough et aucun mini n'est inclus dans cette version, seulement des standees. Il faut donc se procurer les miniatures à part. Ce qui est vraiment plate parce qu'on y retrouve un hélicoptère et des chiens dans la boite de base en miniature. | |

| The Thing est un jeu très amusant qui favorise l'entraide tout en créant une incertitude au sein des joueurs a savoir qui est l'alien déguisé. Bref un jeu qui vaut la peine d'être essayé. | |

| Un must dans ma ludothèque! | |
| Que se soit la qualité des composantes ou les mécaniques du jeu, j’adore tout de ce jeu. Le seul petit bémol c’est peut-être sa version solo qui ne plaira pas à tout le monde ( comme c’est souvent le cas dans les gros jeu avec version solo adaptée). Mais le trip est avant tout de jouer entre amis et revivre ce film mythique de l’intérieur. De loin le meilleur jeu au sujet du film The Thing! | |

| Great board game for fans of the movie and even for fans of other horror games. The part I love is how the game changes depending on how many players there is. You can even play with only 2. If your a fan of Alien board game, you will live this one. | |
