Specialized accredited bookstore

As a specialized accredited bookstore recognized by the ministry of Culture and Communications (ministère de la Culture et des Communications), we are authorized to sell to institutional buyers, such as libraries, schools and ministries across the province of Québec. Therefore, we are happy to make good use of our expertise for institutions looking to build, improve or update their collection.

Institutions and teachers interested by this service can take advantage of it at all time by contacting our librarian Olivia by phone at 418-658-5639 ext. 114 or by email at this address : olivia@imaginaire.com. We also accept order forms at all our stores.

In addition to being assisted in their purchase process, institutional buyers and teachers who request it can also take advantage of Olivia’s expertise at all time for book selections adapted to their needs, whether it is a precise group age, a defined genre or a specific theme. This free service is only offered by appointment.

Please be aware that some of the prices indicated on our website have been lowered for our customers. However, books sold to institutions must be sold at the publishing house’s prices, which are normally a maximum of 1$ more than the prices indicated on our website. For more information regarding the price policy for institutions or to know the exact price of books you are interested in, feel free to contact Olivia (ext. 114) or Caroline (ext. 109).

Board games

Aware of all play-based learning benefits, we are also proud to support schools, community centers, youth centers and child development specialists (such as special needs teachers, speech therapists, physiotherapists, etc.) that turn to educational games to help children understand certain concepts better, but also to allow them to learn while having fun. Therefore, we are happy to offer educational board games recommendations to all teachers and specialists using games to reinforce children’s interest in learning, but also to offer them a 10% discount on their order (with a proof attesting to their affiliation to an institution/organization) without any minimum.

Caroline will be happy to recommend educational board games that suit their needs and, to do so, often collaborates with Annick Pelletier, a special needs teacher for Optineurones and child development specialist (language, motor function, vocabulary and more). An order form provided by their institution will be required.

Evaluation service

If you need our employees’ expertise to evaluate a private collection that has to be insured, that has been stolen or that you have inherited, we can certainly help. Our experts will evaluate your personal collection or your client’s collection and will, if required, provide a written evaluation. This service is only offered by appointment.

Businesses supplier
