Description
A Slinky is a spring-shaped toy made of metal or plastic, invented by mechanical engineer Richard James in Philadelphia in the 1940s.
The special feature of this toy is that it is able to go down the steps of a staircase once it starts moving. It therefore uses the force of gravity to propel itself!
Approximately 2" 1/2 (6.35 cm) in diameter.
