HONOURING QUEEN ELIZABETH II
The $2 Honouring Queen Elizabeth II coin is a solemn tribute to Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), and this Special Wrap Roll puts 25 of these circulation coins in your collection. Inside the paper wrap that honours Queen Elizabeth II, every coin features a black outer ring that surrounds the polar bear design on the reverse, and the effigy on the obverse, to form a symbol of mourning.
A solemn first. This is the Mint’s first circulation coin featuring a black-nickel coloured design feature.
Each roll contains 25 coins packaged in a custom paper wrap that honours Queen Elizabeth II.
All 25 coins feature a black outer ring.
The obverse is visible on one or both ends of each roll.
Mintage: While supplies last.

However the coins made by the Canadian Mint was disappointing. These are not black coins like illustrated. They are gun metal grey, light grey. But very different from regular toonies. |
