Asterix and the Olympic Games
In 2022, Monnaie de Paris launches a new collection mini-medals in a sealed in a "mystery" bag. Each mystery bag contains a random miniature medal from the new Asterix collection.
This series includes 12 colorful mini-medals, representing the different characters of the most famous Gaullic village.
The mini-medals can be kept in a new collector's album.
Those who manage to collect the 12 different mini-medals of the collection will then receive a 13th mini-medal, adorned with the legendary magic potion !

Translating comic book characters is an interesting but perilous exercise. The transition from comic strip to volume must faithfully transcribe the clear line of Uderzo’s and Conrad‘s work. These medals are the faithful representation of a graphic line proper to the french artist, it is a tribute in three dimensions paid by the craftsmen of Monnaie de Paris to the universe of Asterix.
