More or less regularly, thousands of coin collectors are confronted with the need to know the value of a given coin. Grading - a classification of the state of a coin - has a strong influence on its value. Many books or other publications give information on the value of different grades. However, this leaves us entirely with the question: how to determine the grade ?
This book provides a general introduction ongrading, and a large set of accurate pictures of all currency used grades for both sides of all decimal coins of Canada and Provinces that have actually been in circulation, and for which this guide is of practical use. It also includes a number of more specialized notions and peculiar cases that have never (or rarely) been described before.
