The series includes Jolly Jumper, Rantanplan, Calamity Jane, the Grave Digger, the Dalton Brothers, Ma Dalton, Joe Dalton, Billy the Kid, Lucky Luke and Morris & Lucky Luke.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the fastest trigger in the West, the Monnaie de Paris launches in 2021 a collection of colourful mini-medals to the characters figures from Morris' comic strip. 

Lucky Luke is a cowboy, all that there is of more traditional : surrounded by a mysterious aura, without fear and without reproach and resolutely solitary. With his faithful horse Jolly Jumper, he crosses the States of America according to the meetings or the missions entrusted by the government. And wherever he goes, people know him. His unmatched shooting skills have made him a legend throughout the Wild West.

Translating comic book characters is an interesting but perilous exercise. The transition from comic strip to volume must faithfully transcribe the clear line of Morris and Achdé's work. These medals are the faithful representation of a graphic line proper to the Franco-Belgian artist, it is a tribute in three dimensions paid by the craftsmen of Monnaie de Paris to the universe of Lucky Luke.
