This coin is the 6th issue of the Maple Leaves in Motion series. 

 Blue rhodium plating on both sides. On this 99.99% pure silver coin, the blue rhodium plated field provides a striking colour contrast to the silver, which is only visible on the elegant effigy (obverse) and the finely engraved maple leaf (reverse).
 This 5 oz. 99.99% pure silver coin is the first of its kind to feature blue rhodium so extensively - it fills the field on both sides of the 65.25 mm coin. The plated backdrop makes an elegant statement on the coin’s reverse, where it catches the viewer’s attention before re-focusing it onto the silvery maple leaf.
 Celebrate Canada’s maple leaf. In keeping with the maple leaf theme, a laser engraved maple leaf pattern adds depth to the design and is clearly visible under the blue rhodium plating.
