Description

This coin is for the 100th anniversary of the first conférences for the Confederation of Canada.
In 1964, there are two coins varieties. On the first, we can read Thomas Shingles' initials ("T.S.") around the inner circle of thecoin. He was the one who prepared the model from the original drawing of Dinko Vodanovic.
On the second, an error happened on the initials. There is a missing point between the T and the S, giving "T S.". One must be careful, because many people think that their piece doesn't have a point, but it is only slightly erased, making it more difficult to see.

1-DOLLAR - 1964 1-DOLLAR COIN - TYPE 2: MISSING DOT - PROOF-LIKE (PL) is categorised COINS AND PAPER MONEY / 03- CANADIAN COINS / 06- 1-DOLLAR and sold by l'Imaginaire, a store and specialised website.
