Sunset Canoeing
Paddling is steeped in the traditions and early history of this land. With so many rivers, lakes and waterways to explore, many Canadians enjoy canoeing as a peaceful activity that brings them closer to Mother Nature, and to each other. When dusk falls: Glow-in-the-dark elements re-create natural lightat dusk—in the sky and across the water’s surface! A softglow can be seen on the backs of Father and Son, while the colourful illumination of the lily pads adds to the serenity of the scene!
The full effect: To activate the technology, place the coin undera light source for 30 to 60 seconds then move into darkness. The entire image will still be visible in the dark, even in its capsule!
This coin is the second issue of the Great Canadian Outdoors.
The first coin of the series, released in February 2017,depicts the Night Skiing.

The third coin of the series, who will be released in June 2017, will depicts the Around a campfire.
The fourth coin of the series, who will be released in August 2017, will depicts the Hiking in the forest at sunrise.
