The series includes Jolly Jumper, Rantanplan, Calamity Jane, the Grave Digger, the Dalton Brothers, Ma Dalton, Joe Dalton, Billy the Kid, Lucky Luke and Morris & Lucky Luke.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the fastest trigger in the West, the Monnaie de Paris launches in 2021 a collection of colourful mini-medals to the characters figures from Morris' comic strip. 

Pioneer of the Conquest of the West, Calamity Jane is one of the rare female characters in the universe of Lucky Luke (with Ma Dalton)... But what a character ! Scout in the army, gold digger, she worked at the Pony Express and even at the construction of the Railroad, she is as skillful in swearing as she is in rifle...

Translating comic book characters is an interesting but perilous exercise. The transition from comic strip to volume must faithfully transcribe the clear line of Morris and Achdé's work. These medals are the faithful representation of a graphic line proper to the Franco-Belgian artist, it is a tribute in three dimensions paid by the craftsmen of Monnaie de Paris to the universe of Lucky Luke.
