1st coin of the series Silver Pax (5 oz).

 Canada’s first 5 oz. Peace Dollar. A larger (65.25 mm) coin size allows for an expanded view of a new feature for the 2022 Peace Dollar: a pulsating pattern. The field pattern on the reverse of this 5 oz. Peace Dollar—the first such coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint—is much larger than the one on the 1 oz. fine silver and pure gold editions.
 Pulsating pattern. The reverse’s pulsating pattern appears to expand and contract whenever the coin is tilted. This optical effect is produced by an array of sub-millimetre-scale mirrors that have been micro-engineered and precisely engraved to reflect lightand create the illusion of motion, like hope radiating outward.
 Ultra High Relief. Paired with a luminous proof finish, UHR technology lifts the design to greater heights by adding extra depth and detail tothe classical-styled personification of peace.
 A rare collectible. Only 1,000 are available to collectors worldwide.
