The Thing – The Boardgame is an intense game experience for 1-8 players based on the 1982 cult movie directed by John Carpenter. It is a game that mixes different mechanics to create an experience that is as faithful as possible to that of the original movie.
The Thing: Human miniatures expansion contains a set of eight highly detailed character miniatures, to use in place of the Characters standees you can find into the base game box.
These miniatures represent the 8 main characters seen in the movie, such as MacReady or Doctor Blair.
Using these Character miniatures in place of the standees enriches the game, giving it a more scenic aspect and a stronger impact to the gameplay.

| J'ai acheté le jeu de base pour The Thing mais il n'y a pas de miniatures dedans et les standees laissent à désirer. Selon moi, c'est un achat un peu obligatoire pour que le jeu soit vraiment beau | |

| Un extra non nécessaire. Les standees du jeu de base font la job. À mon avis l'éditeur aurait pu très bien monter son prix d'une coche ou 2 et les inclurent dans la boite de base. Mais quand-même, c'est bon d'avoir l'option de les prendres ou pas. | |
