| Only for the diehard Davions | |
| This book is a hard one to recommend unless your group plays with formation bonuses, command abilities, and pilot abilities. It's got a great breakdown of history and of how the Fed Suns build their forces, but it'll be pretty unbalanced to use until other factions have their books. Also feels like a bit much in terms of price for what you get. Time will tell. | |

| Good overview of House Davion | |
| The latest series iteration of the kind of house overview books. There's a history of House Davion, and their situation in the world, as well as some sample listings and some rules that give a distinctive Davion flair to forces. This covers the Succession War and Clan Invasion eras, but leaves it there - it would be nice if it were able to cover up to "present day" in universe, but unfortunately it just doesn't have the room for that. It does cover the most popular eras to play in, though. |

| Good source book on Davion forces, it does not have ilclan era stats. Battletech plays a lot like a historical wargame set in the far future. | |
