The card game Velonimo allows you to depict the merciless struggle in the animal world for the distinctive and highly prized "petits pois-carottes" jersey rewarded to the best climbing cyclist.

It’s a race to the summit!

Get on your bike and ready to race up the mountain to the summit. Score the most points to win the coveted peas and carrots jersey. But watch out, your opponents are trying to knock you off your seat!

How to play:

The goal of the game is to race your animals uphill to the summit and score as many points as possible. Your prize will be the coveted Peas and Carrots Jersey!

The game is played over five rounds and each round represents a climb to the summit by bike. To win the round you need to discard all your cards before the any other player. At the end of each round, the player with the most total points will win the award jersey. If you gain the jersey on the last round, you are the winner!

On your turn you must play a single card or a combination of cards. Announce the value of the card and place it in the middle of the table.

To play a combination of cards, all the cards have to be the same colour or the same value. Hares cannot be played as part of a combo, they work alone!

A counter-attack happens when a player decides to take the lead! When you counter attack you must play a card or a combination of cards where the value exceeds the previous players card. If all players pass after this ‘attack’ it ends. That player clears all the cards from the center of the table and launches a new attack with cards.

The game ends after five rounds. As soon as the player plays their last card they score points according to the points table.

At the end of the last round, the player with the most points will receive the Peas and Carrots Jersey and so, win the game.
